Why a Biometrics Project? Need in (especially) the retail industry: Large amounts of money paid to overtime – tracking non-office staff, e.g. merchandisers, reps Access control – restricted areas, misconduct Reliability of current systems – id cards, clock- in

Saving money – not a competitive issue Need the expertise to compile a comprehensive document – White Paper –To assist in obtaining objectives –To promote trust & confidence in suppliers –To set a standard to upkeep name of installers/suppliers

Expectations and rewards –Cost to be involved = time and effort –CPP to facilitate the process, provide venue –All participants acknowledged in the White Paper –White Paper to be distributed to members (free) and non–members charge –Seminars, training, articles
