4 Types of Employment Staffing Agencies offer Temporary or Contract- employee works for a staffing firm’s client on an interim basis –$$$$$ –Networking –Reference –Motivation –Limits gaps in employment Temp to Hire- employee works for a staffing firm’s client for typically 520 hours before hired on to regular status Direct Hire- employee is immediately hired on to staffing firm’s client company’s payroll © 2010 QTI Management Services

13 Your 1 st assignment Staffing agencies do notice individuals who consistently receive high ratings from clients, have great attendance and are flexible If you don’t like the assignment, do not walk out. –Notify your agency contact to discuss the options When you do a good job for a company, they may request you the next time Once your assignment ends, be sure to contact the agency to discuss your future availability © 2010 QTI Management Services
