Advancement: Faith or Works? 4 Biblical basis –Exodus 33; I Cor 8,9 – I Timothy 6: Faith to the exclusion of effort/works 4 Effort/plans/works to the exclusion of faith 4 God’s supply

Types of Giving: Annual, Capital, Planned Gifts 4 Annual Giving – unrestricted gifts to support operating budget 4 Capital Giving – buildings, capital projects, endowment 4 Planned Giving – wills/bequests, trusts, charitable estate planning

Key Principles: Know the True Source 4 Pray without ceasing 4 God’s work done in God’s way will never lack for God’s supply.

Key Principles: Giving 4 People give to what they know, understand and believe in. 4 People give when the right prospect is asked by the right volunteer for the right amount at the right time. 4 Money flows to promising programs, not needy institutions.
