Progressivism continued… wanted 2 major changes in government 1. government needed to respond to people. 2. government had to protect all citizens.

Muckrakers: A.)journalists who fueled Progressive movement. B.)brought America’s problems to public C.)writings were meant to anger readers -Ida Tarbel -Upton Sinclair -McClure’s Magazine
