Important Things to Remember Relationships – Parents won’t come to an activity because of the “program” but because of the relationship! Connected to Academic Achievement – Intentional Engagement – not just a “family engagement” activity so you are in compliance! “Think outside the box? … Get rid of the box all together!” Fausto Lopez Dual-Capacity Building – what are you doing for your staff to make sure they are able to engage families?
