By Corey Good CHANGING ‘MERICA’S DIET!

WHAT ‘MERICANS AM I TARGETING?! I would definitely try to reach all American diets. Everybody, young, middle- aged, or old should change their diets drastically. America is the world’s fattest nation and not only is it not healthy physically but it damages our IQ level greatly throughout each new generation.

WHAT WOULD I DO??? My intervention would be designed to address the high costs of healthy foods and the low costs of unhealthy foods. I would stop the usage of pesticides on all crops and create more jobs by having people check each and every potato, corn, etc. to be sure whether it is safe to eat or not. I would make nutritional labels more specific and more understandable. Last but not least, I would ban all bogus food advertisements. This would help slow or stop people from getting foodbourne illnesses, obese, diabetes, and any other health problems

HOW WILL MY INTERVENTION EFFECT INFLUENCES ON FOOD CHOICE? My intervention will leverage on all influences of food choice. Commercials, toys, television, and advertisements will all change. Food will turn back into a culture and a way of living rather than a business and a way to make billions of dollars for the government rather than putting it towards the benefit and prosperity for American citizens.

WHO WILL SUPPORT THIS INTERVENTION? It would really help if I could get full support from supermarket owners, urban planners, and school administrations, etc. This would really help decrease the amount of garbage we eat.

PARTICULAR SETTING? This intervention would be designed to reach across the nation in all forms such as homes, schools, stores, restaurants, work places, etc.

CHALLENGES? It may be difficult to get full support from any business or food company because they look at the money most of the time rather than our health. This nation is only getting dumber.

WHAT OUR EATING HABITS SHOULD LOOK LIKE
