Squirt Basics Projecting 4 teams Focus is on development for all teams Players who do not tryout will be on the C team Squirts are limited to 35 games (scrimmages and tournaments included) All teams have the same amount of ice provided by EHA Each team is assigned 2 tournaments – One in town, one out of town – Paid for by EHA (gate fees paid via team fund)

Team Leadership Head coaches have been interviewed by committee of EHA board members and volunteers Head coaches will be assigned based on their child's placement from tryouts Each team requires a committed team manager Eaganhockey.com is the source of team information

Tryout Details 2 nights of pre-tryouts – Consists of the drills they will execute for the skills evaluation – Conducted by the head coach candidates and bantam helpers Three sessions of evaluations – One night of skills – Two days of internal scrimmages All three sessions evaluated by independent non-EHA evaluators (skaters and goalies) Head coach candidates watch all sessions to determine their picks

Tryout Details All tryout sessions are closed to observers – Parents allowed to tie skates if needed Players names are posted as soon as possible for scrimmages – 1 st Scrimmage assignments are grouped by players scores on skills Coaches will pick teams on Saturday after last scrimmage and call each player Scores and coaches picks make up teams – Number of coaches picks depend on team size
