The Artist Who is he and where is he from? The artist is French, his name is Vincent Van Gogh. He is born in France and he is a very famous artists. I like most of his artworks.

The artwork What’s the name of the artwork and when was it created? The artwork’s name is ‘’Le vieux Clocher de Nuenen’’ which is a French name. This would mean in English ‘’The old bell tower of Nuenen’’. This artwork was created by Vincent Van Gogh in 1885.

Subject and mediums What is the subject of this artwork? What mediums did Vincent Van Gogh used to create this artwork? The subject of this artwork is landscape. Vincent Van Gogh used oil on canvas to create this artwork.

My choice Why did I choose this particular artist and artwork? I chose this artist because I saw many of his artworks and they were very colorful and nice. I chose this artwork because I like the way he ‘drew’ this bell tower, I think it is because he had experiences in this tower. I also like the way he doesn’t only focus on the main part (the bell tower) but he focuses also on the environment, the ‘green parts’, grass around this tower. He also doesn’t forget the existence of animals around this tower, that’s why he paints birds flying.
