It is the time to realize, wakeup and start to use alternative sources of energy. Especially renewable energy sources like solar energy, hydro energy etc are good for healthy future. In this direction, government and non government organizations also taking active part in research and awareness programmes. Therefore, there is a need to study the importance of solar energy and solar devices.

Your Role: You will be working as committee members of “Karnataka Energy Development Agency (KEDA)”

Areas of work that needs to be covered during this project Conduct research Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of three solar cooker models available in the market Design a new model which works effectively and create awareness.

Major Milestones To examine different solar cooker models available in the market. To analyze the advantages and disadvantages of basic solar cooker models. Design a new solar cooker model which is effective in nature Promote solar cooker model and create awareness using brochure, website. To suggest remedies to overcome energy crisis and use renewable energy sources effectively.

You will be expected to Prepare a presentation To share your findings with your peers Distribute Newsletters To Promote new solar cooker model and create awareness among local community Design a website To create awareness and share research results with world wide community
