On 16 th November 1830, St. Aloysius School officially became one of the schools of the Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus. Now called Maria Fidelis Convent School FCJ, we give thanks for all God has done in these 180 years.

Amen. Marie Madeleine was inspired by the group of religious called The Jesuits and found that their way of following Jesus was what she wanted for women. This Prayer of Generosity was written by St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of The Jesuits.

Since the arrival of Marie Madeleine and Julie Guillemet in Somers Town in 1830, the FCJ Sisters have since spread across the UK, now working in many towns and cities across England.
