UPLOADING SPEEDSTEP CASE STUDY QUICK GUIDE HEIDI AMBROSE-BROWN

1. Click here 2. Enter the username and password given to you on the paper work from the D&T Assoc. or your trainer.

Click on add new under Case Study Management section. This opens up the template that you need to use for writing your case study.

ENTER THE TEXT FOR YOUR CASE STUDY FIRST IN THE SPACES PROVIDED. YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL THE BOXES INCLUDING THE ADDITIONAL ONES. IT IS POSSIBLE TO SAVE IT AND COME BACK TO IT – CLICK SAVE AT THE TOP RIGHT.

ON CLICKLING SAVE YOU WILL GET CONFIRMATION. YELLOW BOX GIVES OPTIONS FOR WHAT TO DO NEXT. CLICK TO EDIT AND COMPLETE THE WRITTEN ELEMENT.

Click here and the Image Upload comes up where you can browse your files to find Image 1 for your case study. It must be a JPEG. Add Image 2 next.

The images that you have chosen to upload will appear – so you can check you have the right ones. N.B. for demonstration purposes random pictures have been uploaded for speed and do not reflect the type of images you will be expected to submit. Your images must clearly demonstrate that you have used SpeedStep in a variety of ways and have a good grasp of wide number of its features – not just one or two. Mood boards that are simply cut and pasted to make a pretty page will not be accepted.

When you click SAVE, your case study will now come up with the 2 images at the top. If you are happy with everything then click on Submit option and it will send an to your trainer. They will then open it and look to check it through and either send it back with a comment regarding what else needs doing – or will pass it and upload it to the website. This triggers your final certification and licence to use SpeedStep in school.
