A Worldwide Company … For a Safer World …Staff Training Program Overview of Interlock Products What is an interlock ? A breathalyser designed to be fitted to a vehicle in order to prevent drink driving. Often known as a “BAIID” i.e. a Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device

Breathalyser connected either by wire or wirelessly to A Control Unit (Immobiliser) responsible for the blocking and unblocking of the vehicle Starter Circuit.

Before you can drive an equipped vehicle you have to provide a breath sample to the breathalyser. If the measured alcohol volume is less than the cutoff value then your vehicle will be able to be started. If the measured alcohol level is equal to or above the cutoff value then your vehicle will not be able to be started.
