THE TUNDRA’S LOCATION The Tundra is located in Alaska and Antarctica. The Tundra is also located on the edges of Greenland, Northern Scandinavia, Northern Siberia, and Russia. The Tundra is about 3 million square miles long and covers 20% of the Earths surface. Source: Tundra /Land.htm

HUMAN INFLUENCES Humans influence the Tundra by polluting the air with their car fumes causing global warming. This causes the ice to melt. Humans also put pipes in the ground to get oil. The Tundra has oil underneath the ice causing many companies to drill for oil. This ruins the ice and causes the ice to break away from the whole Tundra. Source: influences.html
