How may your current priorities help or hinder your way in reaching future priorities? Compare lists.
Translate future priorities into long-term goals E.g.: “I will graduate college in 4 years “I will become an airline pilot in 8 years” “I will decide on a career in 6 months”
Short-term goals: Important steps to achieve a long-term goal LTG: “I will graduate college in 4 years” STGs: “I will decide on a major” “I will find out what courses I need to take” “I will develop my course schedule plan” “I will get at least “C’s” in my courses”
Set deadlines or estimated completion times for short-term goals: “I will decide on a major in a month” “Then, I will find out what courses I need to take in a week” “Then, I will develop my course schedule plan in a week”

Schedule studying same time each day Categorize priority list into high, medium, and low importance Do the high importance activity, or most difficult activity, first Make productive use of free time Set aside extra time for the unexpected
