How To Survive & Thrive Back in 1916, three men decided to take on Sears, which was the Amazon of its day. Every household looked forward to receiving the Sears catalog. It was an event, not just an experience.

These three men had a focus on books and what they managed to accomplish was nothing short of phenomenal. At a time when Sears owned the mail-order industry, these men managed to capture a very crucial piece of the market.

Their company continues to exist to this day. The system they used to steal market share away from Sears can be applied to working WITH Amazon to get greater market share from other sellers
