Substantiation What is substantiation? Substantiation is documentation that an expense is qualified. The IRS requires that HRA funds be used for qualified expenses only. 2

Claim Matching What is claim matching? Once the electronic claim is received by HealthEquity from Florida Blue, our system can match it to your debit card transaction. Claims can be automatically matched to card transactions based on the date, amount and vendor. 5

Claim Matching When will the claim not automatically match to my card transaction? If you pay for more than one date of service at a time. If you pay a discounted or partial amount at the time of service. If HealthEquity does not receive the claim from Florida Blue (dental or vision ). 6
