Family traditions In my family my there is a very good balance between my parents, my dad makes some decisions and my mother others. Every decision based on traditions are made mostly by my mother because she is a very firm believer in many traditions. My dad has always been more relaxed on those kind of celebrations or family reunions it is my mom who is more strict on them.

Traditions or customs: Go to church every Sunday Celebrate mothers day with grandmas Big Christmas celebration Go eat with our family in every of our birthdays Not much of a trip family or gifts between each other New years with family

2 different sides of my family Many parents might have many things alike and their families might also be very similar but this is not my case at all. My dad and mom are totally different, they pretty much like opposite things and their way of expressing and speaking is very different. Even though the great differences between them they still love each other after 25 years of marriage and have found some common things they both like and do things for the other one. My dads and moms families are not the exception in those differences.

My dads family is very outgoing, they speak a lot and like big celebrations. My moms family is much more quiet, more reserved people and enjoy having the company only of family. They have met each other and even though the great differences even with the food they eat they were able to get along and enjoy the celebrations we had together such as Christmas. As you can see with such great differences me and my brothers are a mix of these 2 totally different families, some of us more of our dads side and some more of my moms side.
