Product Overview - Contribute Contribute: – was released about 6 months ago –is a very affordable “light” version of Dreamweaver MX that allows content in sites developed with Dreamweaver templates to be authored by anyone – restricting them to the editable regions of the base Dreamweaverr template (think of it similarly to a content management system for static HTML sites). – has been quietly well received. Version 1.5 is now in beta testing, which implies that whatever rumors you’ve heard, Contribute is not going to just vanish

Product Overview - Breeze Breeze: –has been out for a few months –has gotten a lot of buzz in the community but not many people really understand what it is –Breeze is an application hosted by Macromedia. When you have a breeze account, you install a Breeze power-point plug-in which allows you to then upload power point slides to the breeze server which then transforms them into a flash movie which people can view online –Breeze also has e-learning functionality built into it!

Product Overview – Central Macromedia Central: –Hasn’t officially been released – even in beta –Has been officially announced –It is a flash portal framework. Essentially, it is a browser that little flash movies execute within. These flash movies exchange data with each other and they talk with servers via Web Services. –Promises to give flash developers an outlet for desktop application development.
