God’s Plan Elders and deacons in each church – Philippians 1:1 – Can a church exist without elders? – Acts 14:23; Titus 1:5 – Acts 6 – Apostles gave instructions We have “apostles doctrine” – Acts 2:42

Church Without Elders Have same responsibilities as with elders except submission to elders – Not majority rule – Not minority rule – No “one man” rule Preacher may be “a” pastor; not “the” pastor

Decisions Must Be Made Scriptures to guide us – 1Corinthians 11:3; 1 Timothy 2:12 – 1 Corinthians 14:40 – 1 Corinthians 1:10 – Philippians 2:3-5; 14 – Ephesians 5:21 – Ephesians 4:16
