Popham’s FAC Definition Formative assessment is a planned process in which assessment-elicited evidence of students’ status is used by teachers to adjust their ongoing instructional procedures or by students to adjust their current learning tactics. Pg 6 Level 1 Level 2

The Student’s Roll Popham talks a lot about students changing their learning tactics. What do you think your students learning tactics are?

Round 2 Your Data! Make a copy of the power point on Google doc. Name it with your name. Reflect on your data. Document your Formative Assessment Cycle on the Template I am happy to read and reflect on these for you, just them or share the google doc or link it to the WIKI Consider these things:

Round 2 Your Data! As you either reflect or plan keep in mind:  Clarity of the Objective  The connection between objectives and Assessment.  Triggers for you and your students to make adjustments.  How you are going to include the student in the cycle.
