Hartman LBNL 11 Future Plans Internship Ends May 1, 2003 –Alexis will continue 100% time with ATLAS –End of Pixel mechanics production ~spring 2005 –Supported 100% by project until at least ~summer 2004 Current Responsibilities – next 6 months –Design of insertion scheme for Pixel “Package” –Integration of rollers/sliders into package design –Design of insertion “driver” mechanism –Testing of limited insertion “dry-fit” Future Plans –Assignments to be determined Larger integration role Testing/validation of composite components (maybe more analysis) –Continued presence at CERN meetings
