Objective: To provide rewards to exporters to offset infrastructural inefficiencies and associated costs involved and to provide exporters a level playing field. Merchandise Exports From India Scheme MESI FTP MEIS replaces - FPS / MLFS / FMS / AIIS / VKGUY. The unconditional utilisation of the scripts issued under the Scheme will ensure a hassle-free export of merchandise from India. Merchandise Exports From India Scheme MESI Exporters of notified goods / products with ITC (HS) Code, to notified markets as listed in Appendix 3B, shall be rewarded under MIES. Also para 3.05 of FTP. Ineligible categories under MEIS as per para 3.06 * Duty credit scrip and goods imported/domestically procured against them shall be freely transferable. * Duty credit scrip can be utilized for a wide range of duty/tax/fee payments.
