Origins Of Anime Anime began at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in France, Germany, the United States, and Russia.The oldest known anime in existence was screened in a two minute clip of a samurai trying to test a new sword on his target, only to suffer defeat.

Studio Ghibli is perhaps one of the most famous animation producers in Japan, North America and worldwide. Some of their most popular films include: My Neighbor Totoro, Howls Moving Castle, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, The Cat Returns, Princess Mononoke and the award winning Spirited Away. Studio Ghibli

Some of the Weird Over the years the animes became more and more strange, adding a unique quality to the animations of today. For example people with multiple limbs, strange beasts and things that don’t make sense at all.

Most Popular Anime Today there are countless anime series produced, but there are some of the most popular, such as: Naruto, One Piece, Death Note, Code Geass, Inuyasha, and Eureka 7, just to name a few.

The Art of Anime Anime comes mostly from the art form known as manga, and many a anime is based off of works of manga.

Newest Anime There are many recent anime floating about the net but the most uproar was for the new anime series by Hayao Miyazaki, Bonen no Xamdou aka Xamd.

How to draw anime? First, you need pen or pencil, paper and eraser. Then, imagine your character. Draw your picture on the sheet of paper. Fix your picture and erase parts that you need to, then colour your character. Now, you have your own character!
