How to sign up for Z-Club’s Remind101 service: You will get a text back requesting your name-this is so that I will know who has signed up. Z-Club Remind 101 (720)

Z-CLUB SERVICES You have 2 kinds of service: Community or School Weekly Service & Projects Any time spent with Z-Club is counted for your hours. We have meetings, projects, service activities (elementary school carnivals, Salvation Army Toy Shop, Revel, and Artbreak, for example), making teacher cookies, bringing supplies, fundraisers, etc. You are required to do 1/3 of all possible hours, per semester. Participate in as many as you can, as we do not know what service opportunities will be available throughout the semester. You will participate in a school or community service that is approximately 1 hour a week. You may choose to do volunteer work at a hospital, nursing home, or any place that you are volunteering for the betterment of the community and are not paid. Only one worker per teacher. Some suggestions are Shriners, Schumpert, Holy Angels, Providence House, Lighthouse, etc. You may also choose to help a teacher here at Byrd. I will have a list for you to choose shortly. YOU MUST DO THESE TO REMAIN A MEMBER. SENIORS MAY NOT LEAVE “ON PROBATION” 3

YOU MUST DO BOTH SERVICES TO REMAIN A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING ANCILLARY SERVICE IS NOT COUNTED. SENIORS MAY NOT LEAVE “ON PROBATION” 4

It is your responsibility to seek out and maintain contact with them. What is going to be expected of you. Make sure they understand that if they do not have something for you to do when you go to them at your previously arranged times, you are to get credit for that time. But make sure that you are checking with them on a consistent basis! This Weekly Service information sheet is due back to Ms. Fox by September 26, If not turned in by then, unless you have talked to me, you will be placed on probation for your lack of weekly service hours. 5

C. E. Byrd Z-CLUB 3201 Line Avenue Shreveport, La WEEKLY SERVICE HOURS SHEET To___________________________________Date__10/26/2015__ From Terry Sermons, Natalie Fox, Sonja West, Sponsors, C. E. Byrd Z-Club. Our Z-Club member, _________________________________ has chosen to do her school/community service with you for the year. She is to do one hour of service for this semester, excluding holiday weeks, until December 5, This should be a total of 12 (twelve) hours. The two of you should get together and decide how and when. She may work two half-hours, one hour, two hours every other week, etc. PLEASE!!! If she comes to you to help and you do not have anything for her to do, PLEASE CREDIT HER WITH THE TIME ANYWAY.* These hours are an important part of her service record for Z-Club and she must complete these in order to be a member in good standing. Use this sheet to record her hours and return it to me at the end of the semester. Your signature at the bottom verifies that she worked these hours. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Ms. Fox, S201 6
