What is Kaltura? Is Video Platform that will help solve the challenges of using video within the LMS (Blackboard) while opening a whole new set of engaging teaching possibilities. Allow faculty and students to use media as easily and intuitively as they would other content objects.

What can a faculty member do with Kaltura in Blackboard? 1) Webcam Recordings – Assignments 2) Upload nearly any form of video content 3) Insert Youtube clips 4) Use the My Media platform to manage all of their video content, easily accessible through Blackboard

Kaltura Pilot During Summer I instructors

Dr. Joseph Ryan I like Kaltura’s tool better than BB because it is simple and straightforward, and I like the fact that each of these videos are now in my own library. It brings online education to life. Dr. Hillary Knepper I personally really like this platform. I anticipate using it for future classes, both on-line and face to face. I found Kaltura really easy to use and the support I received… added to the ease of use. Prof. Aaron Gottesman I was able to use it myself with no challenge, and did not receive any reports from students of any difficulties – hopefully a good sign.

Would like to work with IMOs to setup and begin having users scan their computers for PII using Identity Finder. An instructional video is available & can be accessed by all users Reminder: All users should be vigilant against Phishing s and never forward Pace s to third party accounts. Reminder: All Windows domain computers and Windows VPN clients are required to use Network Level Authentication.
