When installing Windows 7, SSD and HDD can be specified in the below stage: If OS (Windows 7) is installed on HDD, not SSD. What will happen? It doesn’t support RapidDrive. However, the machine can work well in this situation like a normal one with a SSD plugged without RapidDrive driver. If RapidDrive driver is installed on this condition, it will cause “Blue Screen”. When a new version driver is released, the old one can be replaced. The relevant information about the driver can NOT be found in the Control Panel and Registry to prevent users from destroying the driver which will cause the crash. Can SSD be found in the Device Manager? Yes. Unplugged the SSD on the RapidDrive machine. The operation system and drivers are located on the SSD. If unplugged, the machine is crashed.

No. There is a bug when checking the disk. “Disk 1” is a bug after combining SSD with HDD. When entering the “Disk Management”, a dialog box is popped up to ask users to initialize “Disk 1”. Some tools can be used to merge / delete / adjust the partitions, for example, “Acronis Disk Director Suite”. For RapidDrive machines, only the tool preloaded on Windows 7 is supported. OneKey Recovery for RapidDrive? The OneKey Recovery is optimized for the RapidDrive without change of UI and functions. Factory backup is the backup of the files on SSD only.

The OS can NOT be installed following the normal way. RapidDrive provides a useful tool to reinstall the OS – RapidDriveTool. 1.Run “RapidDriveTool” under the OS. 2.Shut down. 3.Boot the machine with ODD to install the OS. RapidDriveTool is used to separate the SSD and HDD. It can NOT be used to install dual operation systems with RapidDriveTool.

Some drivers may locates on it. 3.Some files used to maintain system partition (SSD+HDD) is damaged. They can be restored with OKR. 4.The 5 th primary partition was created through some tools. Only 4 primary partitions are available, so delete it using the same tool. When allocating partitions on HDD, make sure the primary ones are less than 4. 5.Master Boot Record (MBR) of HDD was damaged. MBR can be fixed with some tools. 6.SSD can not be detected.
