Why Change? The feedback we received told us that you need HR to:  Better understand the school  Work more closely and pro actively with areas to support you on people issues  Improve the service levels of day to day transactional services Previous HR structure in pace 12 years; needed to reflect changed working practices of the School Previous structure based on an HR view of the world, new one on School needs and priorities

The sole purpose of the HR Division is to support the School in the development and delivery of its priorities and strategy. Partners Specialists Services School Academic & Administrative Units School Academic & Administrative Units New HR structure

HR Partners HR Partners will focus on their assigned areas of the School HR partners will ‘partner’ managers throughout the school in devising people management solutions that meet present and future needs. Act as a ‘critical’ friend, providing appropriate and timely HR solutions Provide clear and expert advice across all HR issues Interpret and deliver centrally held HR initiatives

What would we ask from you? Access to yourselves and information regarding your team and your priorities To alert us early to any issues To work with us in genuine partnership To consider our inputs and challenges.

HR Services  High quality HR transactional support to staff and managers across the whole School including high quality reception and front end service  Single data and documentation repository and management for all HR related data and activity

HR Specialists Organisation and Lifelong Learning, Systems and Information, Policy and ER Leading edge expert advice with national engagement in specialist areas Specialist support and guidance to HR colleagues and managers in role of ‘best practice’ coaches on specific topics Sourcing and commissioning of significant projects Horizon scanning and policy setting Working with HR Partners
