Changing Internet Provider ● The first step is to open an account – Not tied to the company you are with ● Enable your current to be POP3 – This means Gmail can access it ● Pull in your current into Gmail ● Stop using your old “tied” for a year

Changing Internet Service Provider ● Can involve small amounts of pain ● Be an irritation at the time ● Saving a HUGE amount of money ● If you there is a contract involved - walk away ● There are plenty offering monthly contracts

Questions to ask ● Ask your existing service provider to tell you when your contract is due to be out of contract ● Extract a MAC code from them (Migration Code) ● You give this new provider ● They will either send you a new router or help you reprogramme your exisiting one ● The new provider will help you connect you existing PCs to the new router
