What is Research Professional? Accessing the site & registering Funding Searches Setting up alerts

Research Professional Online database of funding opportunities Source of International research policy and practice news Free to browse content of the site and create customised funding searches The University of Opportunity

The option to register is listed on the main Research Professional page

Funding Search - Disciplines When identifying which discipline is needed for your funding search you will be shown the 4 main discipline areas To widen the search click into each discipline area to ensure you are identifying as many opportunities as possible, as the sub categories are not automatically highlighted

Setting up an alert Conduct funding search Click save

You will be given the option to create a new search or save over an existing search if you have one Give the search a title and click save and alert to receive weekly alerts or just save the funding search by clicking save You can edit the search at any time

Bookmarking opportunities Select each opportunity you would like to bookmark – they will then be highlighted in yellow Click on the orange bookmark button You can also download or the opportunity by clicking actions

Once you have clicked bookmark you will be given the option to create a new folder to save your results or to add items to an existing folder.

Saved searches and bookmarks can be accessed from the main funding page and from the search results page
