Why this one?  Samsung SDP-850DX  Camera quality – works in a variety of situations  Build quality – solid and sturdy  Decent balance between portability and durability  Has been used extensively at Lane School for the past two years

Setup Options  Direct connection to display  Document camera and projector only  Fine for basic operations  Document camera as the hub  Can put a laptop in the mix  BUT devices operate independently, can only project and use one at a time

Laptop as the hub VGA USB Integrates document camera with laptop and adds software capabilities  Software-based remote control (with limits)  Still image and movie captures  Convenient switching between multiple applications (ALT-TAB)
