According to Green Paper prepared by European Commission on Converged Audiovisual Services:  Consumer spending on digital video (movies and TV series delivered over the Internet) reached €364.4 million in 2011 (+41,8% vs. 2010) in Europe within a market of physical and digital videos amounting € million (-4.6% vs. 2010)  The unmet demand for VoD services from pay-TV operators from other Member States is estimated to be in the range of €760 million to €1,610 million annually  Internet video users are expected to increase globally to 1.5 billion by 2016, up from 792million in 2011  306 video-on-demand (VoD) services in the EU in the third quarter of 2012  72 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute.
