What exactly is HUMAN TRAFFICKING? Sex trafficking is a massive global enterprise based upon force, coercion and deception. Traffickers transport or detain their victims for the purpose of exploitation and profits through acts of sexual violence…People can also be trafficked for forced labor (think restaurants, agriculture, etc).

Statistics on Modern Day Slavery United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) now believes that the number of children trafficked annually is around 1.2 Million (2006) It is estimated that 2 children per minute are trafficked for sexual exploitation. It is estimated that at least 27 million people are currently enslaved around the world, many who have been enslaved through being trafficked. This is more than double the number of Africans enslaved during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.

Statistics on Modern Day Slavery The average age of entry for girls is 4 years old; for boys it is years old. According to ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Tracking of Children for Sexual Purposes), as many as 100,000 U.S. children are forcefully engaged in prostitution or pornography each year. Approximately 300,000 U.S. children are at-risk.

Prayer Targets The children trapped in slavery right now! The children being targeted to be slaves right now! (Wisdom and TRUTH to be exposed so they will not be tricked!) The Brothel owners to have an encounter with Jesus that would shut down the industry.

Prayer Targets The men and women around the globe that are paying to abuse these children. May they have an encounter with Jesus and be freed from their addictions and enslavement to sin. The police and NGO workers fighting to save the victims! The leaders of the safehomes that are helping the victims heal.
