Poland, as Italy is located by the sea. The Baltic Sea is located in North of Poland.

Italy is located by the Mediterranean Sea (Tyrrhenian Sea, Adriatic Sea, Ionian Sea and Ligurian Sea)

The Capital of Italy is Rome which is 1523 km²

The Capital of Poland is Warsaw which is 517 km².

* Total area is similar, because Poland is about 312 km2 and 301 km2 Italy * About Poles live in Italy * In both countires the political system is a republic (parliamentary democracy) * Polish and Italian people are very open to others * Italians celebrate Easter and Christmas at the same time as Poles * New Year is celebrated on the last day of December * Dominating religion is Catholicism. Italian breakfast consists of croissant (or cookies) and espresso. Polish breakfast is a little different from Italian. In Poland, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we usually eat sandwich and cheese, ham, tomato, cucumber and we usually drink tea or coffee. Sometimes we eat scrambled eggs.

*Football is national sport in Italy and Poland *Volleyball is also important sport in both countries. Italian team is one of the best team in the world. Polish volleyball has achievements too, for example The Champion of Europe from 2003 and 2005
