Bud Abbott( ) & Lou Costello( ) were one of the greatest comedy teams in the history of show business. Their official teaming began in 1936.They mastered the straightman/clown relationship, creating a magical chemistry that would take them from the burlesque stage to radio to Broadway to film and finally, to television.Bud Abbott became one of the most sought after and polished straightmen on the burlesque circuit, where he met his future partner, Lou Costello. It wasn’t until they appeared on the “KATE SMITH RADIO HOUR”, performing what would soon become known as their classic signature skit, “Who’s On First,” that Bud Abbott & Lou Costello were hurled to stardom, and to Hollywood. Today, their comedy continues to generate new legions of fans around the world. Their clean style of comedy, born on the burlesque stage over 50 years ago, continues to find a ready and accepting audience in today's marketplace.

Rowan Atkinson is a sharp-tongued comic performer known for playing sardonic characters on English TV. In 1990 Atkinson began starring in “Mr. Bean”, a near- silent comedy series that showcased the performer’s considerable physical comic abilities. Atkinson took this accident-prone character to the big screen in the mildly enjoyable “Bean”. Since his first appearance in 1989, Mr Bean has achieved a massive following around the world – he’s now recognised as the most popular British comedy export since Benny Hill. His visual humour and elaborate sight gags transcend linguistic frontiers.
