Rebel baseball players are strong character men who are positive, respectful, selfless leaders in our community. We honor the game of baseball and have great pride in all we do. Preparation + Confidence + Performance = Success

Meet the Captains ‘14 - Brandon Rushmeyer ‘14 - Trevor Kiminski ’14 - Daniel Kielb

Getting better year round… 1 – Playing another sport at CPHS is encouraged. 2 – Get involved in a baseball specific workout program - Captains Practice - Non CP affiliated baseball training such as: - Tony Kiminski Baseball training – Extra Innings - Next Level Baseball training – Jim Egan - Velocity - Champlin 3 – Champlin Park weight room *Working out in the “club” on your own is not a good option* *See our website for links to the various options- ”Player Development” Don’t rest on past success – you either get better or you get worse.

Get it done in the classroom… - Strive to keep a high GPA - Work towards earning scholarship money in the classroom as much as you work on your game. - Sit in the front of the class. -Make it known you’re a baseball player, a leader and someone that can be counted upon. - Any failing grades during the season will result in “study table” time with your coach. Grades checked regularly! - If you play during work time…you will work during play time.

Tryouts… - Tryouts will start on Monday March 17 th. - Reminder No School March 17 th. - Our tryouts will involve all coaches on our staff for all teams. -We are signed up for the “late shift” for tryouts. -Have your homework done. -It will be a challenging week. -Be prepared physically and mentally. -Teams - 9 th Grade (30) - 10 th Grade (15) - JV/Varsity (30) - You must be cleared prior to Spring Break -Physical up to date and on file -Fee paid and cleared from the office -Violations will make it very difficult for you to make our program.

Summer Baseball… - There is an option for everyone to play baseball in the summer. - 9 th Grade Team often play 15’s - Sophomore team – VFW - JV/Varsity – Legion - Whether you make the high school team or not – you can find a place to play in the community. - Check the website later in the spring for more details.
