 Topic 1:  People say that the environmental pollution is due to people’s misunderstanding of the relationship between human beings and nature. Do you agree?

 Environmental problems: Many reasons  Industrialization  --polluted water, gas  Urbanization  --factory increases, field decreases  Crave for profits  --ignore side effect, focus only on money  Gap between different areas  --abandon traditional way of living, take the new style which may not be suitable for local people.  Population  --more people, less resources

 Environmental problems and relationship --Air and water pollution --Deforestation --Sand storm --Food problem --Health problem  Key reason: the misunderstanding of the relationship between human beings and nature

 Right attitude towards nature help human beings understand the value of nature.  Human beings, as trees, rivers and oceans, are also part of nature.  --Will not exploit nature at will  Cooperation rather than competition  --think about the effect of human activity  Live harmoniously  --benefit both human beings themselves and nature

 Many species of animals and plants are declining in the world. What should we do to prevent this?  Why decline?  Environmental problem  How to solve it?  Understanding of the relationship between nature and human beings.  Government: rules and regulations ……

 The responsibility for the environment rests with the individual and not only with the government. Do you agree?  Environment problem  --industrialization  --deforestation  --sand storm  Misunderstanding of the relationship between human being and nature  The government should take the responsibility: directing both individual and industries in their understanding of the relationship between human being and nature.  This cannot be achieved solely by individuals.

 Because economic development leads to so many environmental problems, we should limit economic development.

 What should we do to maintain educational equality?  Why is there inequality?  What is the inequality?

 While studying abroad provide opportunities to broaden one’s experience, it poses potential danger to one’s native culture.

 It is harder and harder for university graduates to find a job, so training for work is more important than a broad-based education in universities.

 In many countries, traditional foods are being replaced by international fast food. This is having a negative influence on both families and societies. How do you agree with this statement?

 More images of disasters and violence are shown on TV programs? What are the reasons for this and what effects will this have on individuals and society?
