Photography Project Madison Mendez Due: 5/1/14 Block A4

Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photo #1 This photo won the Pulitzer Prize in This photo is worthy of the prize because it includes various types of photo categories within one picture. It shows the action of the man pulling someone out of the water. This photo also gets the shot of a relationship because a man is reaching out his hand to help someone out of the water.

Pulitzer Prize- Winning Photo #2 This photo won the Pulitzer Prize in This photo is worthy of the prize because it has a center of interest and shows action, reaction, emotion, and a relationship. The center of interest is the boy and a dead body in his arms. The action is the boy holding the dead body and the reaction is the boy holding onto the dead body tightly while in tears. The emotion is the boy crying over the dead boy and the relationship is shown between the boy and the dead body showing that they knew each other because he’s crying that the boy’s dead.
