STAMMP History Established in 2008 to centrally manage CA’s travel and meetings Assist government travelers with their travel needs by obtaining the most economical rates and fares available through the use of contracted travel-related services

Travel Agency Contract Current contract with TravelStore 7 dedicated agents and 1 manager housed on-site Utilize online booking tool, Concur Over 44,000 Concur profiles Cost Reduction in Service Fees
Airline Contract City-pair contracts with JetBlue, Alaska/Horizon, Virgin America and United Contract with Southwest Airlines Special Southwest Discount Current contract ends 6/30/2013
Car Rental Contract Contract with Enterprise Holdings, Inc. for both short term and long term rental car services Daily Rate: $30.00 (compact and intermediate) Current contract ends 12/31/2013
Travel Payment System Contract Current contract with American Express for travel card services- centrally billed cards and individual cards Out to bid for a new RFP
Emergency Lodging Program GSA has established a contract with Corporate Lodging Consultants (CLC) for Emergency Lodging services which states can also utilize. DGS will be setting up a central contract to use these services for Emergency lodging with in California and out of state.
CA Meeting Management Program CMMP assists State departments with the planning of their meetings and conferences in the most cost- effective and efficient manner Booked over 500 meetings since 2008
Green Lodging Program Green Certification for CA Hotels Currently have over 300 certified Partnerships with AAA and Travelocity Encourage travelers to use green hotels when traveling Book meetings and conferences in green hotels
Travel Newsletter Sent to travel coordinators on a bi- monthly basis Articles include: Travel news Updates Special events Travel policies FAQ’s
Training and Outreach Training Monthly Concur training for travelers and travel coordinators Quarterly travel coordinator meetings Outreach Marketing and advertising Increased participation and new sources of revenue
Partnership Advisory Group (PAG) Mission= establish lines of communication and enhance partnership opportunities between the State of California, the travel industry, and STAMMP participants under a single organization Meet on a quarterly basis and all meetings are conducted in Sacramento and via teleconference 25 partnership members
