  James and Emily Williams had 4 sons  Lived at The Willows, Northland Road  James Alfred was an actuary (manager) of the Londonderry Savings Bank  All 4 children attended Foyle College  All 4 of the brothers took up arms in The Great War The Williams Family

  Born  Educated at Foyle before going to Trinity College Dublin as a divinity student were he joined the OTC  “Williams was a keen rugby footballer and a capital swimmer.”  Applied to join the forces on  Killed in action  Buried near Ypres and his name can be found upon the Menin Gate Memorial Charles Beasley Williams

  Born 1897  Educated at Foyle before becoming medical student at Edinburgh University  He was KIA during the Somme campaign on 6 September 1916  Name is found upon the Thiepval Memorial James Alfred Williams

  Born  Educated at Foyle before migrating to Canada to work at the Bank of Montreal  He was KIA at Gulleghem on  He is buried in Dadizeele New British Cemetery Ernest Joseph Williams
