April 3, 2007 – U.S. Supreme Court says that US EPA does have the authority to regulate CO2 as a pollutant.

REGION V Outgoing DRC Report Future A Foundation for Change is Being Built – Wall Street March 2007 – Goldman Sachs brokered a $45 billion leveraged buyout of the massive TXU Texas electric utility. As a condition of the deal, Goldman Sachs required TXU to drop plans for all but 3 of its 11 planned new coal fired plants and required TXU to invest $400 million in renewable energy sources such as wind power.
