Ensure that all personnel planned for assignment to a multinationally manned headquarters have, as a minimum, English language skills as follows (listening, speaking, reading, writing in accordance with STANAG 6001, Edition 2 - Language Proficiency Levels): a. Officers: SLP b. NCOs: SLP By the beginning of 2012, ensure that all personnel in deployable units, including contributions to the NATO Response Force (NRF), have, as a minimum, English language skills as follows: a. It should be noted that, for some categories of personnel, changes have been made to SLP requirements, in comparison to previous force goals, to reflect the provisions of Edition 2 of STANAG The requirements for language proficiency of personnel in deployable units have been amended in light of further analysis and lessons learned from operations. Due to the ongoing CZE Armed Forces transformation process as well as resource restrictions, all language proficiency level requirements specified in article 3. will be met by the beginning of 2018.
