COLORADO HISTORY TIMELINE ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS Mr. Hawthorne Colorado History

 You will be put into eight groups of 3-4 people & you will be assigned a number (1-8)  Within your group, you will complete the following tasks:  First look at all the events on the Colorado history timeline that correspond to your group’s number  After you look over all the events (there will be events), your group will need to choose the six most important/significant events  You must then create a timeline with your six events on your sheet of paper

 Timeline  Each event on your timeline should be represented with the name of each event, the date, and a small drawing that represents the event  On the back of the timeline, you must list your events in chronological order & explain why each event is important/significant  Make sure all group member’s names are on the timeline
