Issues

Continuing issues – GRU Water Lines Repairs – Finance Fees

GRU Water Lines Repairs Coordination with GRU – open cut repair work – possible lining of existing pipes – future leaks repairs by directional boring – no guarantee that will not require future cuts

Finance Implications Previous SADs – Initial funding by gas taxes, reimbursed over period of SAD Current financial situation – Gas tax does not have sufficient funds Options – Pursue debt (financial fees) – Finance from County investment pool – Suspend creation of SAD until gas taxes can support

Finance Fees Pursue debt (financial fees) – Include financing for this project in financing for Nickel Gas Tax (NW 16 th Ave, SW 62 nd Ave/63 rd Blvd., CR 231) – Save$15k-$20k in issuance costs
