IT14 Presentation with Animation

7 Introducing Animation In this chapter, let’s get familiar with: I.What is Animation? II.Computer Animation III.Applications of Animation

3 I.What is Animation? Animation is the technique of creating this kind of sequence of graphics. Cartoons consist of a sequence of images or frames. When these frames are shown in rapid succession, they give the illusion of motion.

4 II. Computer Animation Computer Assisted Animation Pixel-based Animation Outdoor displays Computer-controlled individual pixels are quickly turned on and off or change colour rapidly to produce the effect of motion.

5 Cell Animation Computer-assisted scan-and-paint animation system Scans individual drawings and then paints them with colours chosen to create the individual frames called cells. II. Computer Animation Computer Assisted Animation

6 Blue Screen Photograph y Shots the scene of an actor performing in front of a blue background. Replaces the background with some animation prepared separately. II. Computer Animation Computer Assisted Animation

7 Computer Generated Animation In-between Key frame In-between frames II. Computer Animation A sequence of in-between frames are generated by using computers. First, key frames are identified.

8 III. Applications of Animation Entertainmen t A lot of movies and TV programs have added animation effects. Education and Research easily explains easily explains fundamental concepts fundamental concepts simulates situations for simulates situations for experiments experiments

9 Busines s An advertisement with 3-D animation is more attractive. Engineerin g Engineers use animation to visualize their designs. III. Applications of Animation
