To form a yes/no question using the inversion form Invert (switch) the order of the subject and the verb Danses-tu? Aimez-vous le chocolat? Mangeons-nous la pizza?
Only use inversion with pronouns (tu, il, elle, nous, vous, ils, elles) Never use inversion with people’s names/proper nouns * je isn’t used much in question form, that’s why it’s not listed here
With il, elle, on add -t- between the verb and the subject if the verb ends with a vowel Parle-t-il français? Regarde-t-elle la télé? Écoute-t-on la musique en classe?
