Growing the trade … 12 Between 1992 & 2004 Port of Broome averaged 90 commercial visits (all vessel types) per year.

Growing the support capability… 13 In 2014 Port of Broome has averaged 45 O&G vessel visits per month over a six month period. Port of Broome now receives on average 1,200 commercial vessel visits per year (17 X increase on pre figures).

Current and Future Projects Update… 14 The following projects are either underway or in the planning stage: Wharf Extension of Life Project; Northern Dolphins and Re-location of Wharf Shed; Upgrade our water supply, power and firefighting capabilities, storm water drainage and sewage system; and Berth 5-8 Fender refurbishments.
