I Wild life is defined as all the uncultivated plants and non domesticated animals. India has a rich heritage of wild life. The conservation of wild life prevents Extinction of valuable species of plants and animals and also helps in Preserving the biodiversity.The government of India has taken up the following measures to conserve wild life.

Conservation of Wild life is a complex operation because, it is not only Concerned with living organisms like plants and animals but also with The non-living environment on which they depend. Conservation of living Resource has the following main objectives. 1.To ensure sustainable utilization of species of ecosystem that support Human societies and our industries. 2.To preserve the biodiversity.
