Fernando shows happy people, together, animals included. Brazil, Fernando, 13

What I find most interesting about this map is the artist’s attention to detail: the drawings of the people include their cultural identity. Bulgaria, Daiana, 12

Canada, Alex, 11 The world is depicted as “small” here. Interesting interpretation. Does he think the world is spacially small, or just that common underlying thread.

China, Michelle, 5 Friendly faces represent the continents for this child. A beautiful, optimistic outlook for such a young artist!

Croatia, Iva, 12 This child has a similar perception as the artist from China. The same wonderful outlook of friendliness and togetherness.

Czech Republic, Hana, 11 Similar theme to the last two slides. Worldwide, we must be teaching “togetherness” and working for one greater cause.

Finland, Pauli, 10 This student seems to be highly interested in their own culture.

France, Theo, 10 Togetherness theme appears again. We hold the whole world in our hands?

India, Avani, 10 Highly detailed, clearly this artist has a pretty good knowledge of geography!

Indonesia, Nayafakda, 10 Vibrant, interesting concept. The physical world seems to grow a tree of people/cultures/nations. Seems to speak to the idea that the world was here first, before we were on it.
