 The school is divided into teams called 'houses' and each student is allocated to one house.  Houses compete with one another through- out the school year, gaining house points for their teams total score.

 Create a friendly competition between pupils encouraging you to take extra pride the day to day things that you do at school  Encourage pupils to attend extra curricular activities  Build bonds and friendships with pupils across all year groups  Develop a sense of belonging to something other than being a member of Buxton School

 The theme of the house names comes from people who have changed the world.  The junior BLT team worked long and hard on selecting the names.  So who is ……………….. (member of the Junior BLT team to introduce the person who their House is named after).

 Now we need to start working as a team to earn as many points as possible!  Where do we start?  I need to: 1. Make sure I get to school EVERY DAY 2. Make sure I get in ON TIME 3.
