Nowadays in pharmacy of Ukraine and leading countries of the world.

The first steps of independent Ukraine in this area in the early 90 pp. was the birth of the national system of institutions designed to regulate the creation, analysis, research, and introduction into medical practice and production of pharmaceuticals.

Were established pharmacological and national pharmacopoeial committees as guarantors of quality domestic and imported drugs entering the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine Committee on Drug Control Committee immunobiological preparations. State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Drugs, Office of medicines and so on.

With the proclamation of the independence of Ukraine in 1991, p. undergone significant changes ownership pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies. A lot of private pharmaceutical companies, centralized provision of medicines to the population changed through direct decentralized supply of drugs from manufacturers to pharmacies.

At the end of the XX century. the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine there are about 200 pharmaceutical companies. A characteristic feature of the present Ukrainian pharmaceutical market is the delivery of a large quantity of drugs imported without some consideration of opportunities to meet the needs of the population and health care institutions. Today in Ukraine registered about 10,000 drugs, including 3,000 domestic production.

Market saturation is not primarily through the supply of new original products, but due to already known drugs, which are hidden in different brand names and often are produced by domestic pharmaceutical industry.

Statistical data show that Ukraine can provide themselves with their own medications without assistance only by 28%. The rest (72%) owned by foreign companies.

With more than half of registered import of drugs available on the market of Ukraine "basis" drugs are 5-farmakoterapeutics groups of 30 approved by the Pharmacological Committee of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. This means for the treatment of infectious, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal diseases, analgesics, antipyretics, nonsteroidal anti- inflammatory drugs, hormones, contraceptives.

Despite the wide range of pharmaceutical products in Ukraine, the population still remains poor essential drugs of different dosage forms, a large number of which are imported and not credible for safe use.

Chemical and pharmaceutical industry - one of the most promising areas of human activity. This is due to a necessity of the industry products for all segments of the population. One of the hryvnia, embedded in the pharmaceutical industry, a conservative estimate gives three rate of profit.

In Ukraine, even in the darkest periods not stopped work on the creation and implementation of new medicines. This gives confidence in the possibility of revival and development of the national pharmacy.

On the achievements and successes can only speak in comparison to other industries. Professionals are well known existing problems pharmacy. Overall capacity of Ukrainian pharmaceutical market, according to experts, was in 2012, p. About 4 billion. U.S. and obviously this is not the end, because in France the same population as in Ukraine, with sales of approximately $ 12 billion. USA.

The current stage of development of health care in Ukraine, which is characterized by the growth of drug production enterprises of different forms using mostly imported substances, as well as entering the domestic pharmaceutical market large volumes of imported drugs imposes higher requirements for their quality and their service needs improvement control.

Along with the development and improvement of drug quality control a priority strategic objective of the pharmaceutical industry is to ensure quality, why should facilitate the implementation of GMP for domestic enterprises

Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Academy first initiated the opening of the new specialty training for pharmaceutical production. Established specialty "Industrial pharmacy" towards "Chemical technology and engineering", which has developed into a specialty "Technology of pharmaceuticals" in "Pharmacy".

Analysis of health systems in North America and Europe has demonstrated a major role in providing medical care clinical pharmacist who, having in-depth knowledge of the relevant pharmaceutical disciplines and possessing medical knowledge bases are reliable assistant physician. Another initiative was the opening UKRF in "Pharmacy" specialty "Clinical Pharmacy".

One sign of recognition of the need for regional pharmaceutical qualified personnel was the discovery of pharmaceutical faculties in many medical institutions of education. Along with the traditional founders of fashion in this direction - Kharkov, Lviv, zaporizhtsyamy began training pharmacists in Kyiv, Ivano- Frankivsk, Luhansk, and engineers pharmaceuticals - in Dnipropetrovsk and Rubizhne.

An important part of network pharmacy is a pharmacy that directly serves drug provision of health care settings and populations. Despite the economic problems that are related to taxation and attitude to pharmacies only as trade organizations, pharmacy network not only survived, but it got rapid development.

At present there are about 12 thousand pharmacies, including 53% of the state, 35.6% of collective ownership and 6.4% private. In comparison to 1992 when p. one pharmacy accounted for 7.9 thousand residents, it is now thousand, though there are problems in rural areas.

Social and medical feature that perform pharmacy depends on human resources. In pharmacies are about 80 thousand professionals, including 55.6% with a special pharmaceutical education, including - 45% of pharmacists and - 55% of pharmacists.

Today selfself-medication - a concept that follows from the definition of responsibility for their health to society. Abroad for self use so-called OTC drugs that the patient can be obtained without a prescription and medical supervision. Thus, the U.S. market share of self is 39%, France - 20% Germany - 15%.

The problem of prescription and non- prescription medicines in Ukraine is one of the most critical because it leads to irrational use of medicines.

An important problem that also faces the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, is the organization of production and sale of narcotic and psychotropic drugs and precursors to prevent their abuse.

To improve the efficiency of medical measures to combat drug abuse in Ukraine and improving drug provision of health care institutions and relevant categories of patients narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues an extensive legislative and regulatory framework, carried out some restructuring of the supply and control of drug trafficking in this group means.

For effective management of the sector (planning, evaluation and audit) is not used pharmaceutical information. One solution to this problem is to automate the collection, analytic-synthetic processing of pharmaceutical and medical information and create a single information field across Ukraine.

The main objective of creating an information field - providing specialist medical and pharmacy official and professional analytical information that constantly and rapidly updated and required for both public and private companies operating in the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine to improve healthcare delivery and also to support the scientists.

The main objectives of creating a more extensive information field are: - Create a single universal reference system and information data bank in Ukraine, which could combine all those working in the pharmaceutical industry;

- Creation and maintenance of complex computer systems and networks, and providing training and consultancy, expert and marketing services; - Introduction to the work of pharmaceutical and medical institutions promising information technologies;

- Information of medical and pharmaceutical fields; - Searching and analyzing information about medicines by using various types of literature and electronic databases.
